Privacy policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

Study in Korea uses registered students’ details only to provide customised student services and study options, and to operate and protect those services. Your details help us tailor university and program guidance, remember your preferences and connect you with an advisor when you request assistance.

Details you provide

When you register with email, we collect your name, email address, mobile number and date of birth. If you sign in with Google, we receive the account details needed for sign-in, such as your name and email address. We also store the preferences, saved universities, visa progress and deadlines you choose to save.

When you request a consultation, we collect the contact details, intended degree, preferred university and message you submit. Consultation details are recorded in our enquiry and CRM process so an advisor can respond.

How we use your details

  • Provide personalised study guidance and relevant university, program and scholarship options.
  • Remember your saved choices, study preferences and application preparation progress.
  • Respond to your enquiries and send account or consultation-related messages.
  • Verify access to your account, protect your information and handle your privacy requests.

We do not sell your student details or use them for unrelated advertising. We do not collect your mobile location or phone model for student guidance.

Access and service providers

Your personal profile is private to your account. Authorised staff and service providers supporting account sign-in, hosting, email delivery and the consultation process may process the information necessary to provide those services. Your information is not displayed in the public university directory.

External university websites and social platforms have their own privacy policies. Those policies apply when you leave our app.

Storage and retention

We retain your account details and saved study information while your account is active to provide your personalised service. The app uses sign-in session storage to keep you signed in and local storage to remember a guest visa checklist. You can clear locally stored guest progress using your browser or app storage settings.

You can delete your account at any time. Emails already sent, separate CRM records and advisor-held copies require a separate request; they are not automatically recalled or erased by the app’s account deletion. Any legally required retention will be explained when we respond to your request.

Your choices and deletion

You can browse without registering, update your saved study preferences, and permanently delete your account and its linked personal data whenever you need. You can also email us to request access, correction or deletion of your details.
