Terms of Service

Last updated: 12 October 2026

These terms govern your use of Study in Korea. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the service.

About the service

Study in Korea provides information and guidance about studying in South Korea, including university and program options, scholarships, application preparation and visa checklists. We are not an official admissions or visa service, a university, or a government authority. Guidance does not replace official requirements or decisions from the relevant university or authority.

User accounts and Google sign-in

You may browse without an account. An account lets you save personalised study preferences and progress. You can register with email or sign in with Google where available. Google sign-in is also subject to Google's terms; it does not imply Google's endorsement of Study in Korea.

Provide accurate account details, keep your password and sign-in access secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal details.

Your responsibilities

Use the service lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit false or misleading information, impersonate others, infringe anyone's rights, or attempt to access another student's data, disrupt the service or bypass its security.

You are responsible for checking current requirements, deadlines, fees and eligibility with the relevant university or authority before applying, paying or making travel arrangements. Ensure your applications and documents are complete, accurate and submitted on time.

No guarantee of outcomes

Information, eligibility matches and advisor guidance are provided for reference only. We do not guarantee admission, scholarships, tuition waivers, visas or any other outcome. Decisions are made independently by universities, scholarship providers and immigration authorities. Requirements and availability may change, and published information may become outdated.

Intellectual property

Study in Korea's original content, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use the service for your personal study planning, but may not reproduce, redistribute or commercially exploit our original material without permission. University logos, brochures and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners; their display does not imply endorsement or affiliation.

Service availability and liability

We aim to provide useful, accurate information but do not promise uninterrupted access or that all information will be complete, current or error-free. Third-party websites and services operate under their own terms and are outside our control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Study in Korea is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, missed opportunities, or losses arising from reliance on guidance, service interruptions or third-party decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account and its linked personal data whenever you need. Visit the deletion page for verified self-service deletion or to request help by email. Deletion cannot be undone and does not automatically remove previously sent emails or copies held by external advisors or separate CRM systems.
